Starting Hourly: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour depending on medical scheduling experience.

Currently, we are looking for a full time Scheduling Coordinator for our W Alta location in Las Vegas.

Schedule needed: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

*Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Answering Inbound new patient calls and placing Outbound new patient calls from faxed referrals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Analysis of incoming referrals to place calls and perform accurate data entry into our EMR.
  • Understanding of Insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior to scheduling if required
  • Collaboration, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Technical and Scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for Initial Evaluation and the 5 following visits.
  • Thorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.

Education:
High school diploma
College a plus, but not mandatory if meeting experience requirements

Experience: at least two years of relevant work experience and the skills necessary for the position

Language: Bi-lingual / Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Requires prolonged standing, sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
