You'll work with a diverse caseload of orthopedic, sports, post-surgical, and chronic pain patients - helping each person reach their unique goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
- Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
- Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
- Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
